1. Who we are
This site is operated by Sellers Side LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13329495, with its registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 7LT. We trade as SellersSide.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our registration with the Information Commissioner's Office is CSN1133869.
For anything relating to your personal data, contact us at support@sellersside.com.
2. What we collect
When you register for a webinar: your first name, email address, the revenue band you select, the session date you are registered for, and the marketing consent choice you make.
When you book and pay for a Bottleneck & Quick Wins session: your name, email address, the time slot you book, and any information you enter when booking. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store them.
When you send us Amazon account reports: the business data contained in the files you upload, which may include your sales, advertising spend, search query performance and product-level performance data. This is your commercial data and we treat it as confidential. See section 8.
Automatically, when you visit this site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the referring URL, and any campaign tracking parameters attached to the link you arrived through (including UTM parameters and Meta click identifiers). We also set a first-party analytics cookie that lets us connect your later form submission to your original visit.
If you attend a live session: your display name and any questions you ask in the session may be captured in the recording. Sessions are recorded and the recording is shared with registrants afterwards. If you do not want to appear, keep your camera and microphone off and use the chat sparingly, or watch the replay instead.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Send you the confirmation, calendar file and reminders for a session you registered for | Performance of a contract / legitimate interests in delivering what you asked for |
| Send you marketing emails about Amazon strategy, future sessions and our services | Your consent, given by ticking the opt-in box at registration |
| Deliver and administer a paid Bottleneck & Quick Wins session | Performance of a contract |
| Analyse how our advertising and this page perform, in aggregate | Legitimate interests in running our business efficiently |
| Keep records of payments and consents | Legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in being able to evidence consent |
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop the practical emails about a session you have already registered or paid for.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether our interest is overridden by your rights, and concluded it is not because the processing is limited, expected in this context, and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and tracking technologies:
- HubSpot sets a first-party cookie (hubspotutk) that identifies your browser so that when you submit the registration form we can connect it to the visit that brought you here. This is how we tell which adverts work.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel loads on this page and reports page views and registrations back to Meta so we can measure advertising performance and build audiences. Meta may match this activity to a Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. Meta acts as an independent controller for its own purposes — see Meta's own privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Campaign parameters in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, fbclid) are read from the link you clicked and stored with your registration.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can limit Meta's use of off-Facebook activity in your Facebook account settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you registering or attending.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with the service providers that make this work:
- HubSpot — our CRM and email platform. Your contact record and marketing emails live here. Data is held in the European Union.
- Lovable — hosting for this website.
- Calendly — booking and scheduling for paid sessions.
- Stripe — processes your card payment.
- Zoom — delivery and recording of live sessions.
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement, as described above.
- Google — if you use the "Add to Google Calendar" button, the session details are passed to Google.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK or EEA, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the provider's certification under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable to that provider.
7. How long we keep it
- Registration and marketing contact records: for as long as you remain subscribed, and for three years after your last engagement with us, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
- Consent records: for six years, so we can evidence the basis on which we contacted you.
- Payment and invoice records: six years, as required by UK tax law.
- Session recordings: twelve months.
- Uploaded Amazon reports: see section 8.
8. Your business data
Reports you send us for analysis are your confidential commercial data. We use them only to prepare and deliver your session. We do not share them with other clients, use them in marketing, or publish figures from them in any form that could identify you or your business, unless you give us specific written permission. We delete the files within ninety days of your session unless you ask us to keep them for ongoing work.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have your data erased; to restrict or object to how we use it; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw consent where consent is our basis. You also have the right not to be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects — we do not make any.
Email support@sellersside.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113. We would rather you raised it with us first.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
